I T MAY come as a surprise to most of us,
but some of the little trappings of
civilization -- the social buffers of
white lies that oil the machinery of
politeness between people, the petty gossiping, and other tricks too numerous to
mention -- these are not the harmless pastimes they seem to be. After we die, some
phases of living, common to our society ,
come out into the cold light of the astral planes and do not show up in the
pretty colorings we have assessed to
them. An example of this is illustrated
