ANY PERSONS have been puzzled by
the "appearance" of flying objects
that apparently defy the laws of
physics in their flight. They have
been derided as "delusion" by psychologists. They have been defended by aviators. Bible-quoting prophets of doom, and
otherwise linked with such notions that
Earth is about to capsize, bringing devastation to all living things. Recently,
Carl Jung, Swiss psychologist, released a
statement that "These things are not a
mere rumor; something has been seen. A
purely psychological explanation is ruled
out."
Let us examine the evidence from the
vantage point of general semantics
