Bergson said choice was creation and
creation was effort -- but this is not true.
Creation is not effort. Bergson clarified
his statement in his later writings when
he pointed out that creation was thought,
that your choice was creation. In those
two opposing sentences, "Choice is creation" and "Creation is effort" -- is it any
effort to choose? to make a postulate?
Some persons are afraid to choose, but if
you're not afraid to make a choice., there
is no strain in making a choice. There's
no motion; it's instantaneous
